Natural Light

We can all instinctively feel the difference natural light makes. We’ve all been in a space that feels “right” though we didn’t immediately know why. So often the cause of that feeling is the sun — the space was lit with natural light. As is so often the case, the things we know and feel instinctively can be at least partially explained with science, and our soul’s appreciation of natural light is no different.

This article by researchers at North Carolina State University, details some of the benefits associated with natural light, including even improving sleep.

Our homes prioritize natural light. In fact, they are designed and built around it. Our hope is that thoughtfully inviting the sun in will lead to more calm, peace and productivity at home.
